Create Effects 100x Faster with this Easy Trick

Jordy Vandeput 254K views

An Adobe After Effects Tutorial where I show you how to reverse stabilize footage so you can apply effects to your subject much easier and faster with this simple hack.

In todays video we cover a simple yet super usefull technique, the reversed stabilisation effect. With this effect we can stabilize an object, easly alter it and put the motion back in it again. The benefit of this is that you don't need to animate the effect with the movement which will make the whole process of you working on that effect faster. Which gives you more time to work on other projects or ofcourse to watch more Cinecom videos.

Next to using this effect like this you can use it also in another way. Instead of putting the motion back in you could just leave it stabilized on a certain object. We kind of did a video on this effect already. If you guys didn't saw that tutorial yet you'll probably still know the effect because Beats by Dre used it in theire latest commercial and it went VIRAL!

Here you can see the camera is perfectly locked onto the earpiece and keeps it nice in place.

Is there a way to put a 3D comp instead of a still frame, or a 2D shot?
