5 Fast & Easy Effects You Can Make WITHOUT After Effects

Indeed! You don't necessarily need Adobe After Effects to create simple VFX for your videos. There so much you can do within Premiere, without even needing After Effects. But why? Some effects are so simple to make that switching to After Affects, actually costs you more time. Here are some fast and easy effects you can make inside Adobe Premiere Pro!

Blending Light on Face

The lights you can see on this women's face, are super easy to create in Premiere. All you need to find is a clip of abstract and colorful shapes. Duplicate your video and with Lumetri curves, create a high contrast selection so that the face turns white. Now all you need to do is blend the white parts of the girls face with the shapes and there you go!

Clean Music Video effect

Who doesn't like some clean effects in a music video? Good news! With this effect you can blow away the viewer like it's nothing!

First you need the echo effect. Put it on the first clip and animate it so that the person starts duplicating. Then take the first frame of the second clip and copy it on top of the first clip. Mask out the person from the frame and duplicate it around ten times. Leave a frame open in between the ten frames.
