What is color matching?
You've probably already heard of color matching. It's a term that's used a lot among video editors. Let's say you like a specific look of a movie. Than the color grade plays a big role in that. There are ways to copy the color grade of a video and paste them on your footage.
That way it can look like your videos are shot in the style of a specific movie or series that you like! In this tutorial we color matched Jordy with the new Wes Anderson movie: Asteroid City.

Using Lumetri Color for Color matching
In this Adobe Premiere Pro tutorial, you wil learn how to match your video with Asteroid City by using Lumetri. By using the Lumetri scopes, we will measure the exposure and the colors.
Skin tones, sky colors, the greens and so on will all be matched by using the HSL tab in Lumetri. That way we can select a specific color and isolate it. Once it's isolated we can adjust the colors of the selection so that they match with the movie. Definitely check out the tutorial above for a step by step guide on how to match your footage with Asteroid City!
